Clouds of birds on the radar


one bird ...flew more than 2,000 miles from South America to Indiana in just over 3 days.

Many of the blue and green blobs along the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic are clouds of migrating birds...scientists can zoom in and see which direction an individual bird's beak is pointing, as the bird-storm flies from Amazon to Arctic. (The green and yellow spots are weather-storms.)
